Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe

"The narrative drive of Stowe's classic novel is often overlooked in the heat of the controversies surrounding its anti-slavery sentiments. In fact, it is a compelling adventure story with richly drawn characters and has earned a place in both literary and American history." -Goodreads.com

Uncle Tom's Cabin by Harriet Beecher Stowe was ok. It was one of those books that if I hadn't already owned a copy I probably wouldn't have picked it up. Though honestly I am just now starting to like classics after hating them all through middle/high school. So I might keep this around to read again in the future and see how I like it then :)

Giving it 3 stars.

Read it on January 4th till the 8th
